VISUAL ARTS RULES FOR ENTRY:

1. As a juried art show, artworks must adhere to guidelines in order to be chosen for the exhibit.
2. Work must adhere to the theme, and only positive, family-oriented artwork will be accepted.
3. Only original artwork accepted: No work from copyrighted images, pre-fabricated molds, models, or kits. No purchased images.
4. Photography entries showing recognizable people must be accompanied by a signed photo release form for each person shown in photo.
5. Any 2-D, 3-D, electronic, or digital art will be accepted for the jury process.
6. This includes, but isn’t limited to: drawing, photography, painting, graphic design, printmaking, mixed media, sequential art, paper art, textiles, pottery, sculpture, digital design, computer art, 3-D design, or miscellaneous media.
7. Artwork for consideration must be photographed and sent in electronically or have photos mailed to The Champion Center of Las Vegas, 3900 E. Bonanza, Las Vegas, NV 89110 by entry deadline of February 22, 2010.
8. Email attachment as a Jpg. or Gif. format to jkillam@mvcs.net or send only non-returnable photocopies or photos you don’t want returned.
9. Non-readable or poor images will not be acceptable for judging and entry.
10. Artwork will be judged on the basis of the following:
    • Design and composition
    • Skill of construction, craftsmanship, and presentation
    • Creativity and originality
    • Adherence to “Imageo Deo” theme
11. Judges’ decision is final.
12. CCLV will notify artists of accepted entries by February 24, 2010.
13. Entry fee for 18+ category is $10.00 per artwork to compensate exhibition costs.
14. Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show and People’s Choice.
15. Accepted artwork will be delivered to CCLV campus by February 26, 2010.
16. Accepted artwork must be matted or framed, finished and ready to hang in order for presentation.
17. Artists who chose to place their work for sale must submit contact info for artists age 18 or over.
